October and November Customer Quilts
>> Tuesday, December 1, 2009
This time of year is extra hectic for quilters, so I'm combining two months into one post. Here are the customer quilts for October and November...
Fun and funky lap quilt for Jayme A. I quilted this one with paisley feathers & swirls, and she put brown Minkee on the back. I know the little girl who gets this for Christmas will love cuddling up in it!
One of two twin size patchwork quilts for Patty J. These are for two of her grandsons for Christmas, and I'm sure they'll love them. She even embroidered their names in one of the blocks.
Here's the second for Patty J's grandson. I quilted these with an all over pattern of swirls, loops, and stars.
Here's a baby quilt for Julia T. that her niece pieced. I love the ragged lollipop-looking flowers, and the fabrics are darling. This one has light green Minkee on the back so this baby will be spoiled with a soft quilt right from the start!
And last but not least, here are some more USU quilts. These ones are wall hangings that they requested. I made them from the scraps of the larger quilts. The large "Aggie Star" quilts measure 72 x 72 inches, and these wall hangings are cute miniature versions that measure 36 x 36 inches. I did two of these in October.
Here's the first one and the pictures that follow are closeups of the front and back, as well as the second quilt's front and back.**I've also been working on a few gorgeous queen size quilts for Shelly B. but don't want to post pictures of any of them because she hasn't seen them in person yet. I'm trying to get them all done and back to her soon so she can start binding them. As soon as she gets them, I'll post pictures.
Happy holidays!
