The Christmas rush...
Lap quilt for Jill G.
The Christmas rush...
My etsy shop is being featured today by Debbie over at Crafty Moose Crafts. She is featuring a different Etsy shop each day from now until Christmas. Head on over and check out my feature and some other great shops at Etsy as well.
Thanks, Debbie!
October is when things start to pick up for Halloween and fall quilts, and Christmas gifts. Here is what I did for customers in October.
Alright, the contest is closed and I have a winner--congratulations #8, Destiny! I'll be contacting you, and be sure to look for your package in the mail. Thanks, everyone for playing. And thanks to random.org for picking the winner.

Hmmm...for some unknown reason, my blog was not accepting comments. I've just fixed the problem (with DH's assistance, of course, I was stumped). It makes no sense to me, and it has happened to several other people--but not everyone. So the comments stop working on MY blog the day I start a contest. Go figure.
Thanks to everyone who sent me an email alerting me to the problem and requesting to be entered in the contest. I'll make sure your names get in the mix.
Now, all that being said, if you want to enter the contest, please leave a message on the previous post. Thanks, and sorry for the confusion. Aren't computers supposed to make our lives easier?
I like to have a hand-work project to keep me awake while riding in the car on road trips. And last weekend was quite a road trip as we made the 6 hour trek to and from St. George, plus the all-day trip to the Grand Canyon! Here is my progress so far, and maybe in another 10 years, I'll have enough for a whole quilt :)
Jessi is my little kitchen helper, and I knew she'd love a little apron that was just her size. So here she is modeling her new favorite kitchen attire. I love the fabric line--Woodland Bloom for Moda Fabrics by Lila Tueller, and I also love the sweet criss-cross tie in the back.
This year for Sean's birthday, I decided to make him a quilt of his very own. So, here is his "Checkerboard Stars" in green and cream.
August and September were two crazy months in my life, so I didn't get many customer quilts done. And, since I am behind in my posting, I decided to combine the two months into one post.
